I am Rosie, and Reasonable Fictions is the umbrella under which my artistic collaborations and personal explorations are gathering. I am a singer and writer living in the Netherlands.

The name is a broad shelter raised tentatively over a fraught huddling of thoughts and feelings. How reasonable are the frameworks though which we interpret and experience the world? Where is our reason when the edges of our imposed coherences are grating and exposed? How can art, especially music, frame or release us, re-order us, render us coherent to ourselves?

At the more frivolous end of the definition, I get upset and indignant when people behave unreasonably in fiction. I consume a great deal of fiction, and people are always behaving unreasonably in it, so I am a little upset quite a lot of the time.
